More Missouri fun

We have never taken the kids to Nauvoo as many times as we have been to Missouri so we took a small detour on the way home from my parents and headed there! The night we arrived was the first night of the pageant it was worth seeing!

Random picture of Raz at the carthage jail.

At the Carthage Jail.

The Nauvoo temple.

We got to go on a covered wagon ride.

We all got to dress like pioneers it was around 97 degrees when we were there and the clothes got hot really fast.

The kids had fun playing old time games.

We tried to walk on stilts.

We are so glad we don't have to haul water like this.

We had so much fun dressing up but I was so glad to take off that dang hot dress!

We stopped by the ARCH in St Louis pretty amazing.

We went to the zoo while we were in St Louis (best zoo ever) and the best part is it's FREE admission. The parking is $8.00 if you want to park by the gate but being the cheap suckers we are we parked 1/2 mile away and walked. We were there for 3 hours and didn't see the whole thing it was so hot the kids were begging us to leave. Definately recommend if you are out that way!

Treagans b-day and 4thof July fun

Declan was being a bully so the older kids swung him out on the rope swing and just held him there until mom came to save the day.

Gavin "Mom someone pushed me in the creek now can I go swim?" It was funny because we hadn't washed the tie dye shirts yet and Gavins skin turned green for a few days!

Brylei in her tie dye shirt all the cousins did at Grandmas it was so fun. I don't know where
my camera was for that!

Treagan all hopped up on soft serve ice cream!

Razden and his cousin Kaylie have a love hate relationship. She would try to hug him and he would shove her. She actually was trying to hug him here but caught him off balance and down he went.

4th of July we had a big shindig just like old times at the trout farm my Uncle John brought his
soft serve ice cream machine and Chris and everyone else was in heaven.(All you can eat twist ice cream cones!

Our sweet little girl Brylei ,oh what would our world be like without her to make us laugh and add a little bit of femininity to this house full of rough little boys!

The rope swing down at the creek, (Nice boots Bryhton). The water was so cold but the kids and Chris had so much fun swinging in!

The snapping turtle that showed up for Treagans birthday he was sooo excited!

We were in Missouri when Treagan turned 4 Grandma made him a turtle cake. Treagan came running in and said a real turtle came for my birthday and sure enough there was a snapping turtle out the back door he wanted to go play with it

Missouri Fun

We had such a fun time on our trip the kids fell in love with the creek! We played in the creek and we fished in the creek and the kids caught crawdads (NOt sure if that is spelled right ha ha) and cooked them to eat!

Raz didn't know what to think of the creek at first but soon jumped right in!

Fun fishing with the cousins they all caught enough for a yummy fish fry!

We stopped in Moab on our way and checked out the arches! Then headed to New Mexico where we dropped off Chris for a job and then the kids and I made the 14 hour drive to Missouri we were all so glad to finally get to Grandma and Grandpas just after dark!
