Daycare

So last summer I decided to do daycare out of my home I started out watching a few neighborhood kids and then people started calling me I now have 10 on most days some days I have a couple of dropins Friday we did an egg hunt and I had 15 it was crazy so this is the reason I don't have much time for posting This is a picture I got when they wanted to go exploring so we took a walk!Some day I may be blogging from a mental institution, ha ha ha!

Spring has not sprung!

We woke up this morning to this nasty white stuff everywhere I don't mind it in December or even february but when it is falling in April it really ticks me off!So March has come and gone and still in Idaho SPRING HAS NOT SPRUNG! Anyway moving on to the next picture, we went to Boise a couple of weekends ago and had so much fun with Chris's sister and her family we went to the warhawk museum,the kids buried each other in the sandbox,Treagan went fishing in the humidifier,we ate lots of yummy food and got to relax and visit it was such a nice weekend Thank you Wes and Nikki for your hospitality! Can't wait to see you again!

Amazing bed builder

Nikki my sister inlaw came up from Boise this last weekend,She had me buy some wood and she built Brylei this amazing bedframe,She drew up the plans on a piece of paper and just started building I was very impressed and Brylei loves it.Thanks a ton Nikki!

Good Times

Where is daddy's cell phone?

We had a great start to our Monday morning Chris was searcing the house for his phone and could not find it anywhere,finally I grabbed my phone and started calling his.We could hear a faint ringing noise and could not figure out where it was coming from,We asked Treagan where did you put daddys phone and he kept going into the bathroom, finally instead of dragging him out we followed him in where the ringing got considerably louder and we started looking in drawers and cupboards and then we looked at each other and started busting up laughing when we realized it was coming from inside the toilet,It had been flushed! We had to disassemble the whole toilet and use a snake to finally dislodge the phone luckily Chris had bought a water proof phone because of his landscaping job and It works just fine screen and all Treagan just thougt it needed to be tested! We cleaned it very well of course!

Missouri Trip

We were able to go home for Christmas, we have not been home for Christmas since we got married almost 11 years ago!It was good to see everyone again we got to be at My Brother Byron and His new wife Elisa's wedding and also my sister Hannah and her new husband Chuck decided to get married while everyone was there.We are happy to have these two wonderful people become a part of our family!My oldest sister Amber was the only sibling not home and we really missed seeing them,but we had a great time.As always thanks to DAD and MOM for letting us all come take over your house for the parties!!THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

Brylei's Baptism

Brylei was baptized yesterday she had lots of friends and family come.I can't believe she is 8 already time is sure flying!Aunt Cheer made her a special baptism dress.

Halloween Fun

We had such a fun halloween Chris and I decided to dress up as super heroes My sister Cheer made the capes they turned out really cool! Bryhton was a flying monkey from the wizard of oz,Brylei was a good witch, Gavin was a gorilla, Declan was a spider and Treagan was a skunk!

How do you stop a climber?

Treagan is my little monkey I'm not sure how to keep him from climbing!The one day I was bringing groceries in and went out for another load when I came back in he had climbed on the table and broken the whole dozen eggs he knew he was in trouble! any ideas?

Happy Birthday Brylei and Gavin

Happy Birthday to Brylei and Gavin Brylei turned 8 on Monday and Gavin turned 5 on Tuesday.They are both getting so big Brylei is taking dance again this year and Gavin just started wrestling and had his first match on his bday. We had fun making fall treats for all the neighbors caramel chocolate apples yummy we ended up making several batches.

Labor day weekend

We went down to Boise to my Grandma Sherwoods (Fowles) family reunion it was good to get to know some of our distant relatives, we were kept full with lots of good food and everyone was very friendly we visited and had lots of fun! My mom and dad and Hannah were able to come and we got to spend some quality time with them.They took us to the discovery museum it was really cool everything was hands on we all enjoyed it. We stayed at Nikki's house and got to visit with her late into the night we appreciate her letting us stay there we propably should have tipped her for being the maid too! We also got to stop and see Our friends the Prindles and visit for a little bit It's always good to see them! On the way home we stopped in Twin Falls and took the kids to see shoshone falls it is a beautiful place to see! We made it back home and now it's back to real life. We got a call this morning that Chris's Grandma Haws had passed away we will all miss her very much she was an amazing Women and a great example to all of us!

Yummy soft Pretzels Recipe

I found this delicious recipe for soft pretzels they are so good much better than the ones at the mall Try them with salt or sprinkle with cinnamon or sugar or dip them in a yummy cheese sauce so fast and easy!

Soft Pretzels

4 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 1/4 cups warm water
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbl oil
about 4 cups flour
1/2 cup baking soda
4 cups hot water
Preheat oven to 400 Dissolve sugar and yeast in 1 1/4 cups warm water let sit till foamy,add sugar ,salt and oil. mix and add flour 1 cup at a time until forms a soft dough and pulls away from sides may need more or less flour.Let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size. roll out dough into thin ropes and shape like pretzels,set aside dissolve 1/2 cup baking soda in 4 cups Hot water dip each pretzel quickly and shake off then place on greased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 min or until lightly browned. Dip in melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar or salt.Very yummy! I doubled this and my children and the 3 I babysit gobbled them up!

Walking the dog

So I guess Treagan decided to take the dog for a walk OR is the dog walking him I'm not quite sure.Yes I am feeling guilty that the last two posts are just of Treagan!

Caught red handed

So Treagan loves powdered doughnuts as much as his mom does I put him in the car while I was helping chris carry something. The other kids were obviously not paying attention to him he climbed out of his carseat and got into the whole box of powdered doughnuts!
